Missionaries

Rev. Carol Crawford in Quessua, Angola in Africa represents Grace United Methodist Church at the Quessua Mission in Angola.  Carol's primary duties are teaching at the rebuilt seminary training new pastors who will be replacing those murdered in the war in this country.  We support Carol by sending $5 for every member of our church every year.  You can check out the mission's website at www.gbgm-umc.org/quessuamission/.

Two of Our Members Are in Missions Too!

Julie and Jon Longacre at Intervarsity Fellowship are both doing ministry on college campuses.  They do a lot of evangelism on the campus at Wooster College, and they also lead groups into China to do evangelism there.  Julie is the Area Director for Intervarsity at Wooster, Akron, Youngstown, Marietta and Case college campuses.  Contact them at jlong@wooster.edu or telephone 330-464-9194.  Their address is 123 Spink St., Wooster, Ohio 44691.  They are happy to receive financial support through individuals at Grace Church. Brooke Taylor is returning to work in India, in Kolkata.  Her ministry is primarily with sexually exploited women in India.  She has been there before as part of her studies at Huntington College.  She will soon begin working on the prayer and financial support she needs for this mission.  We will soon provide details of how you can help.
